Manor; Donora; died Wednesday; Jan. 20; 1999; at home.
Mrs. Harper was born Jan.
26; 1912; in Utica; Ohio; a
daughter of the late Lemuel and
Anna Oates Kidwell.
A member of the United
Methodist Church of Monessen;
she had been employed at the
Normandie Restaurant in
Monessen for many years before
her retirement.
She is survived by two
daughters; Mrs. Delbert (Colleen) Bucci of Harmony and
Mrs. Lawrence (Dawn) Devore
of Monessen; a son and
daughter-in-law; William E.
and Loretta Harper of Monessen; two sisters; Midge Smith of
Monessen and Marie Kidwell of
Brookville; Ohio; eight grandchildren;nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents; she was
preceded in death by her husband; Donald W. Harper; two
brothers; Kenneth Kidwell and
Leonard Kidwell; a sister;
Audra Rankin and a niece;Verna Straub.
Friends will be received on
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
at the Rhome Funeral Home
Inc.; 1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m.with the Rev.William Gawlas officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
