Obituary

Walter Wozniak,59,of 107 Dinsmore St.,Belle Vernon (Fairhope),was dead on arrival at Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Tuesday,June 2,1970,at 5:30 p.m. Born in Washington Twp.,he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna Brazzon Wozniak. Mr.Wozniak was a member of St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,Washington Twp.Volunteer Fire Department and Fairhope Rod and Gun Club. He worked at the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. Surviving are his widow,Ann Strumbus Wozniak,two sons,Ronald of Pittstown,N.J.,and Raymond of Fairhope,two brothers,Alex of Lynnwood and John of Arnold City,three sisters,Mrs.Pete (Katherine) Phillips of Fairhope,Mrs.John (Julia) Dobosh of Waynesburg,Mrs.Mary Halgus of Belle Vernon,five grandchildren. Friends are being received at Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City. Prayers there Friday,June 5,at 11 a.m.followed by Requiem High Mass in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon,at 11:30 a.m. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director.
