Obituary

Walter Kroskie,57,of 60 Marion Villa,Belle Vernon,died Friday,at 8:25 p.m. in Presbyterian Hospital,Pittsburgh,following a lengthy illness. Mr.Kroskie,who was born in Ellsworth,Aug.17,1906,was a coal miner. He was a member of St.Edward's R.C.Church of Fayette City,the Polish National Alliance G.R. No.976 of Arnold City,was president of the PNA No.60 of Arnold City,a delegate to the PNA Council No.60,and served as director of the Fayette County Polish league. He is survived by his widow,Della,four sons,John Edward of Monessen,Stanley Robert of Belle Vernon,Walter William of Fairhope,and Joseph at home,two daughters,Mrs.Geoege (Betty) Colnan of Charleroi,and Adeline at home,three sisters,Mrs.Helen Worry and Mrs.Rose Muzina,both of Arnold City and Mrs.Mary Gerdenic of Pittsburgh,two brothers,John of Arnold City and Frank of Fairhope,fifteen grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home in Fayette City.
