Walter Minney;81;of Dayton;Ohio;died Tuesday;Feb.22;1977;at 12:10 a.m.in the Veterans Administration Hospital at Dayton. He was born in Belle Vernon on April 29;1895. A World War I veteran;Mr.Minney resided on the Veterans Administration grounds in Dayton for many years. He is survived by two brothers;Howard Minney of Belle Vernon and Fred Johnson of Monessen. Friends will be received at the Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home;Monessen from 7 to 10 p.m.Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Friday. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m.at the funeral home with the Rev.S.W.Chambers officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper is funeral director in charge.
