Obituary
Following a lingering illness,Mr. Walter Gibb, aged 72 years,died Wednesday evening,October 14,1942 at 9:30 at his home, 498 McKee avenue. His death was probably hastened by a fall in the home,last Friday,with pneumonia developing from shock and bruises. Mr. Gibb was born in Clelland,Scotland and came to this country in 1923. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janet Jeffrey Gibb,two sons, Robert Gibb of Monessen and Daniel Gibb of Belle Venron,and a daughter, Mrs. Andrew MacLaren of Monessen. Four grandchildren also survive. Friends are being received at the Woodward Home for Funerals where services will be held Saturday,October 17,at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
