Obituary

Walter E. Petrosky,70,of 17 Graham Ave.,Belle Vernon,died suddenly at 1:03 p.m. Monday,Sept. 11,1989,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township.  Mr. Petrosky was born Sept. 26,1918,in Arnold City,a son of the late Michael and Antonina Glicza Petrosky.  He retired in August of 1978 from the Fisher Body Works in West Mifflin. A life-long residnt of the Belle Vernon area,Mr. Petrosky was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon.  Three brothers,Tom,Frank and Jack Petrosky,and one sister, Mary Indof,are deceased. Surviving are his wife, Henrietta Fazio Petrosky;two sons, Gregory M. Petrosky of Roscoe and Timothy E. Petrosky of Belle Vernon;one grandson,Gregory Petrosky of Roscoe;and one sister, Mrs. John (Julia) Popelas,of Belle Vernon.Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
