Obituary

Walter C. Scott, 68, of 522 Speer St., Belle Vernon, instructor of violin for many years died suddenly Tuesday,November 5,1963 at 1:30 a.m. in Charleroi - Monessen Hospital.  He had violin pupils at the present time. Born in Belle Vernon Oct. 26, 1895, Mr. Scott had lived his entire life in Belle Vernon. He was a son of the late Thomas J. and Lizzie Corwin Scott. He retired two years ago from the Model Laundry in Charleroi. A member of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon, he was also a member of the California State College Symphony Orchestra. Surviving are his widow, Edna Crocker Scott and  one son, Lowell of Chicago, ILL.  Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Belle Vernon, beginning at 2 p.m. Nov. 6.  Service there Friday,Nov.8,at 1:30 p.m. in charge of the Rev. Michael T. Hulihan,pastor of the First Baptist Church in Belle Vernon.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
