Obituary

Walter A.Szymansky,85,of 304 Fell St.,Belle Vernon died Thursday,April 8,1976,at 7:02 a.m.in Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital. He was born in Poland on May 7,1890 and had resided in Belle Vernon the past 70 years. Mr.Syzmansky retired in 1958 from the electrical department of the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon. Surviving are his widow,Rachel Breakwell Szymansky,three sons,Edmund and Quentin Szymansky,both of Belle Vernon,and Roger Szymansky of Louisville,Ky.,three daughters,Mrs.Joseph (Clara) Saitz of Belle Vernon,Mrs.James (Stella) Lane of Cypress,Calif.,ad Mrs.Adele DiAndreth of Fayette City R.D.,five stepchildren,Mrs.Doris McGrath,Mrs.Phyllis Crea and Mrs.Mary Jane Roe,all three of Fairhope,Mrs.Ruth Sebesta of Endicott,N.Y.,and Franklin R.Breakwell of Lynnwood,19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,from 7 to 9 p.m.Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m.at the funeral home with Dr.S.Arthur Talman of the First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon,and the Rev.H.R.Loughborough Jr.,of Marion United Presbyterian Church,Fairhope,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
