Mrs.Novakovich was born June 21;1926;in Canonsburg;a daughter of the late Frank and Ann Thomas Smiddle Dampf. She was a former employee of the former Fox Grocery Company;Belle Vernon;working as an office clerk in the firm’s coupon department. Mrs.Novakovich had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 40 years. She was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;where she sang in the church choir. Mrs.Novakovich was also a member of the Belle Vernon and Fayette City Golden Age Assembly. Her husband;John A.Novakovich;died March 17;1972. Surviving are a son;Paul M.Novakovich;and a daughter;Patricia Novakovich;both at home;and a brother;William D.Dampf of Industry. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held at 9:30 a.m.Saturday in the funeral home;followed by a 10 a.m.Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
