Vivian L.Jesick;84;of Speer Street;Belle Vernon;passed away in her home on Saturday;Nov.11;2000. She wasd born in Brownsville on Jan.20;1916;a daughter of the late Andrew and Edith Stemberg Laird. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon and was a former member of the Tuesday Evening Civic Club. Survivors include her husband of 64 years;Maynard N.Jesick;a son and daughter-in-law;Randy and Ann Jesick of Indiana;Pa.;one brother;Col.Paul G.Laird;U.S.Army Retired;four grandchildren;Katrina Quinn of Merrimack;N.H.;Gretchen Jesick of Morgantown;W.Va.;Matthew Jesick of Fairfax;Va.and Mark Jesick of Indiana;and one great-grandchild;Tyler Quinn. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two sisters;Ruth Ferguson in 1976 and Bernadean Vance in 1999. Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.a Golden Rule Member Firm;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.;with the Rev.James C.Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Belle Vernon Lions Club will meet in the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. to pay their respects.
