Obituary

Vivian Lippencott,48,of 124 Sixth St. Rear,Monessen,was pronounced dead on arrival shortly before 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15,1964 of shock and multiple internal injuries suffered in a two-car crash at Rankins Crossroads,Routes 71-330. A former Brownsville resident,Mrs. Lippencott had lived in Monessen since 1940. She was a member of the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen. Surviving are her husband,William of Monessen;two sons, Jefferson Lang of Brownsville and Francis Lippincott of Monessen;her mother,Mrs. Bessie Chapple of Brownsville;her father,John Chapple of Brunswick,Ga.,one brother, the Rev. Richard Knight of Rochester,N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs Reva Bunch and Mrs. Marian Vassar,both of Brownsville;and one grandson,Jefferson Lang,Jr. of Brownsville. Friends will be received at the DuBoise H. Carter Funeral Home,Monessen, after 7 p.m. Feb. 17.  Funeral service at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen,Wednesday,Feb.19,at 11 a.m. in charge of the Rev. E. Archie.  Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Percy Law,Jr.,of Donora is the funeral director.
