Virroria Cheti Sozzi of Dunlevy died Sunday,Feb. 11,1979 in Mon Valley Hospital in Carroll Twp. She was 94. Born in Italy on March 26,1884,she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pricilla Tonarelli. A member of the Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church of Charleroi and the Ladies Altar Society of the church,she has resided in Dunlevy for more than 60 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dante Cheti in 1929;two daughters, Ann Haywood in 1943 and Eva Cheti in 1947;her second husband,Primo Sozzi in 1945,and two sons, Reno Cheti in 1971 and Abele Bruno Cheti in 1974. She is survived by one daughter, Rena M. Cheti,with whom she made her home;six grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. A Rosary Service will be held on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Mother of Sorrow Catholic Church in Charleroi with Father John J. Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
