Obituary

Virginia Stuck Winters,of Brownstown,Fayette City R.D.1,died Thursday,April 16,1981 at 1:35 p.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital,Inc.,Carroll Twp.following a lengthy illness.  She was 67.  Born Dec.11,1913 in Perryopolis,she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Florence McKee Stuck.  Mrs.Winters was a member of the Fayette City United Methodist Church.  Survivors include her husband,Harry K.Winters,three daughters,Mrs.June Baldwin of Belle Vernon R.D.2,Mrs. Eugene (Nancy) Vanaman of Clinton,Md. and Mrs.George (Wanda) Thomas of Baton Rouge,La.,nine grandchildren,four brothers,Walter Stuck of Ft.Wayne,Ind.,Raymond Stuck of Perryopolis,Dale Stuck of Connellsville and Russell Stuck of Houston,Texas,and six sisters,Mrs.Ada Strickler of Mckees Rocks,Mrs. Ina Lynn of Elida,Ohio,Mrs.Olive Lynch and Mrs.Margaret Abel,both of Perryopolis,and Mrs.Bertha Pappas and Mrs.Rhea Faye Sheets,both of Connellsville.  Friends will be received in the Howard W.McCory Funeral Home,Fayette City,on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and all day on Sunday.  Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.in the funeral home with the Rev.C.E.Stollings,pastor of the First United Methodist Church,officiating.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
