Virginia M.Bello of 1120 Lloyd St.;Nanty Glo;died Thursday;June 30;1983;at 7:45 a.m.in Mercy Hospital;Johnstown. She was 61. Miss Bello was born June 25;1922;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of Mary Costello Bello;with whom she made her home;and the late Thomas Bello Sr. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Nanty Glo. Miss Bello was also a member of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association. She had served for three years as a nurse in the U.S.Air Force. Miss Bello had lived in Nanty Glo for the past 50 years. In addition to her mother;survivors include two brothers;Thomas Bello Jr.;of East Aurora;N.Y.and John A.Bello of Wilmington;Del.;one sister;Katherine Medve of Greensburg;and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held Saturday;July 2;at 2 p.m.at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Paul Scruton;pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Nanty Glo;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. If friends wish;in lieu of flowers they may make contributions to their favorite charity. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
