Virginia McGinty,aged 19 years,daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McGinty,of 329 Fallowfield avenue,Charleroi,died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at 11:07 a.m. on Saturday, September 19,1942. She is reported to have swallowed sodium fluoride (roach powder) early Saturday morning and after being treated by a physician was rushed to the hospital where she was admitted at 7:45 a.m. and died at 11:07. The remains are at the home of her parents where friends are being received until time for funeral services at 3 p.m. Tuesday,September 22,at 9 o'clock in St. Jerome's Roman Catholic Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Francis C. Slezak is funeral director.
