Virginia J. Shaw,99, of 712 Wyncroft Terrace,formerly of Monessen,died Tuesday,June 22,1999,at the Essa Flory Hospice Center after a brief illness. She was born March16,1900,in Duquesne,a daughter of the late Emil and Louisa Ferrari Bertani. A homemaker,she was the wife of J. Hunter Shaw,who died in 1961. She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church,Lancaster. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law,Louise E. and Jules J. Treater of Lancaster,and Betty J. Laird of Ashland,Ky.;four grandchildren,six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
