Virginia E. Willey; 92; of Allenport; died Tuesday; Feb. 10; 2009; in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 22; 1916; in Charleroi; a daughter of the late John and Emma Staley Dillon. Mrs. Willey was a long-time member of Allenport United Methodist Church; and she also was a member of the Charleroi Boat Club. Surviving are two daughters; Carol Merritt and husband Charles; Carrboro; N.C.; and Janet Hamer and husband Willard; of Charleroi; one son; Keith Willey and companion Elizabeth Rotheram; of Long Branch; four grandchildren; Trish Vogel and husband Dan; Kenneth Merritt and wife ReAnna; Jennifer King and husband Joe; and Heather Rumbarger and husband Ryan; and two great-grandsons; Jackson Vogel and Alex Merritt. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Kenneth ‘Moon’ Willey; and three brothers; Merle; William and Howard Willey. Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi.
