Obituary

Virginia B. Ambrose Comadena, 91, of North Belle Vernon, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at 12:58 p.m. at Adult Assisted Living Inc., Dunlevy. Born Aug. 20, 1919, in North Belle Vernon, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Naccarato Ambrose. A lifelong resident of North Belle Vernon, Mrs. Comadena was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ, Roscoe, and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Mike Comadena, to whom she was married 72 years, a daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Vinsick, of Strongville, Ohio, two grandchildren, Paul Michael Vinsick, of Modesto, Calif., and Renee Vinsick, of Edison, N.J., three great-grandchildren, Paul Michael Vinsick, Rachel Kathleen Benyola and Megan Ashley Vinsick, and a brother, Raymond S. Ambrose, of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Anthony, Albert and Albert Ambrose, and three sisters, Rose Ambrose, Louise Welch and Florence Comadena. Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 18, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, (724) 929-6183. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Elder James Abbott of the Church of Jesus Christ, Roscoe, officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
