Mrs. Myrtle Sickels, 508 Market St.,Donora,died Monday morning,April 23,1962 at 6 o'clock in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital at the age of 86. Born in New Salem,Pa. on Feb. 13,1876,she had resided most of her life in the Donora vicinity. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Donora and the Kings Daughters Bible Class. Mrs. Sickels was a charter member and past president of Women's Benefit Association Review 237, Donora. Her husband,Robert, died in 1942. Surviving are two sons, Anson of Wilmington, Del. and Arthur of Ormond Beach, Fla.;four daughters, Mrs. Cealie Chadwick of Donora,Mrs. Ora Biddle of Monessen,Mrs. Robert (Eva) Eckert of Monongahela R.D.1 and Mrs. Retta Harrison of Belle Vernon,RD.1;25 grandchildren,41 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James A. Rabe Funeral Home,Donora,after 12 noon on Tuesday,April 24. Services will be held Thursday,April 26,at 2 p.m.,from the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Moseley of First Methodist Church,Donora,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. James A. Rabe, funeral director.
