Violet Marshall;77;of 511 Charles St.;Speers Hill;Charleroi;died Saturday;May 21;1977;at 12:55 a.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon Valley Hospital.  She was born in Pittsburgh on Feb.22;1900;a daughter of the late John and Anna Simpson Bishop.  Mrs.Marshall lived at Speers Hill the past four years;formerly residing in Monessen and Pittsburgh.  Surviving are her husband;Charles F.Marshall Sr.;a son;Charles F.Marshall Jr.of Hollywood;Fla.;a daughter;Mrs.George (Marion) Sutherland of Speers Hill and three grandchildren.  Friends will be received at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;from 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday.  Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1 p.m.;with the Rev.Charles K.Sowden of First United Methodist Church;Fredericktown;officiating.  Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D.Ferguson is funeral director in charge.
