Violet Hackenson;83;of 609 Belle Vernon Apartments;died Friday;Sept.20;1991;at 12:06 a.m.in Haven Crest Inc.;Carroll Township. Born May 13;1908;in Frank;she was the daughter of the late Harry and Elvina Whiteman Hackenson Sr. A resident of the Belle Vernon area the past 10 years;she was a member of The Christian Center and AARP. She had previously lived in Morgantown;W.Va.;and was retired from the Seneca Glass Factory there;where she had been employed as a foreman. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by two sisters;Bertha and Sylvia Hackenson;and three brothers;Elmer; Leo and Harry Hackenson. Surviving are one brother;Jack D.Hackenson of Charleroi;two sisters;Mrs.Henry (Thelma A.) Schmidt of Belle Vernon;her twin;and Mary Momyer of Bowling Green;Ohio;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Donald A.Bowers;pastor of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
