She was born June 6;1921;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Michael and Libera Lombardo Canestrale. She was a lifelong resident of Monessen. She had worked at the Magura’s Clothing Factory in Monessen years ago. She was Catholic by faith. Survivors include her husband;Walter Bell;one son;James Stakias of Bellflower;Calif.;one daughter;Marlene Perozzi of Belle Vernon;two brothers;Joseph and Matthew Canestrale;both of Monessen;three sisters;Mrs.William (Teresa) Peters of Camp Hill;Pa;Mary Bednar of Monessen and Mrs. Norbert (Ann) Singel of Monessen;five grandchildren;Lisa Scagline of Monongahela;Dr.Michael Perozzi of Charleroi;David Perozzi of New York;N.Y.;Josie Hartel and Michael Stakias;both of the state of California;and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Dalsonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc.;441 Reed Ave.;Monessen. A blessing service will be held Wednesday at 12:15 p.m.in the funeral home;followed by a Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. in St.Sebastian Roman Catholc Church;Belle Vernon;with the Rev.Donald Trexler as celebrant.
