Vincent J.Isenberg;74;chief of police of Belle Vernon Borough 25 years;retiring in 1966;died in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital Thursday Feb.12;1970;at 6:15 p.m. Mr.Isenberg lived at 328 Main St.;Belle Vernon. He was an elder and trustee of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon and belonged to Fraternal Order of Police of the Mon Valley. Surviving are his widow;Hazel Murray Isenberg;a grandson;Arthur J.;and a granddaughter;Mrs.Alfred (Linda Lou) Alvarez;both of Kansas City;Mo.;two sisters;Mrs.Ruth Destefano and Mrs.Helen Malone of Monessen;three brothers;Wayne of Fellsburg;Jack of Huntingdon;Pa.;Howard of New York state. Friends will be received at Harold R.Toner Funeral Home;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m. Feb.13 and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Feb.14. Service there Sunday;Feb.15;at 2 p.m. with the Rev.John Bowers;pastor of Belle Vernon’s First Christian Church;officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is funeral director.
