Vincent D. Gluvna; 91; of Chicago; Ill.; formerly of Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; Sept. 19; 2007. Vincent was a World War II veteran; had been employed at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and taught school at Monessen High School. Before moving to Chicago in 2002; he and his wife; Felicie; were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon; where he served as elder. In addition to his loving wife; he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law; Darlene and James Madorma; of Chicago; Ill.; Barbara and Wayne Patterson; of Pittsburgh; and Wendy and Joseph Barbour; of Raleigh; N.C.; six grandchildren; Dawn Gaertig; James Madorma and Paige Batterman; all of Chicago; Meghan Sanders; of Pittsburgh; Justin Barbour; of Charleston; S.C.; and Lauren Barbour; of Raleigh; N.C.; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters; Helen Holecy and Dorothy Romanowski; both of Florida. A memorial service will be held in the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon on Sunday; Sept. 30; at 2:30 p.m. Prior to the service; visitors will be received at the church at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations in Mr. Gluvna’s name may be made to the Memorial Fund at the First Presbyterian Church; Fayette Avenue; Belle Vernon; Pa. 15012; or to: Alzheimer’s Association; 425 Michigan Ave.; Chicago; Ill. 60601
