Victor Hubert Rousseau,aged 79 years,died Tuesday, May 23,1944,at 8:45 p.m. at his home,55 Fourth street, Caifornia, Pa.,where he has resided for the past 34 years. Born in Belgium,he came to this country in 1894,locating in Charleroi. He was a retired employee of the Vesta Coal company and was a member of the Charleroi Cooperative club. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Constance Rousseau,a d aughter, Mrs. Amelia Marshall of California;two sons, George of Detroit and Victor,Jr. of California,seven grandchidlren and one great-grandchild.Friends are being received at the John F. Caleffie Funeral Home in California and services will be held there Friday,May 26,1944,at 2:30 p.m. Rev. I.K. Teal,pastor of the California Presbyterian Church,will be in charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. John E. Caleffie is the funeral director.
