Victor A. Mencarelli,77,of 800 Arch st.,Belle Vernon died Tuesday,June 11,1963 at 9:15 p.m. in Brownsville General Hospital. He was a member of St. Sebastian R.C.Church of Belle Vernon,the Garibaldi Lodge of Dunlevy,Italian Beneficial Society on Market St.,Belle Vernon and the United Mine Workers. Born in Italy on Jan. 16,1886,Mr. Mencarelli came to Belle Vernon in 1921. He retired in 1950 from the Somers No. 4 Mine at Pricedale. He is survived by his widow, Bruna Lazzari Mencarelli; two sons,Evo of Speers and Delford of Monessen; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Eva) Simone of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Paul (Lloyda) Kostolansky of Monessen; one sister,Zemira Paoi in Italy and five grandchildlren. Friends wil be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon after 2 p.m. June 13. Requiem High Mass will take place at St. Sebastian R.C.Church in Belle Vernon on Saturday,June 15,at 10 a.m. with the Rev. John F. Donovan officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.
