Veronica Gombita Pabis;73;of Krolik Ave.;Arnold City;Belle Vernon;died Wednesday;May 18;1994;in Mercy Hospital;Pittsburgh;following a short illness. She was born Jan.16;1921;in Donora;a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Obester Gombita. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City. Survivors include two sons;John C.Pabis of Laguna Hills;Calif.;and Richard Pabis of Belle Vernon;one grandson;Michael Andrew Pabis;one brother;Andrew Gombita of Donora;and one sister;Margaret Gombita of Donora. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;John Pabis on Nov.27;1986. There will be no public visitaton. A private funeral liturgy will be held Friday at 2 p.m.in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;334 Main St.;Fayette City;with the Rev.Richard E.Mackiewicz officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
