Vera L. Fike; 90; of Lakewood; Ohio; formerly of Charleroi and Belle Vernon; went to be with the Lord on Thursday; July 7; 2011; in Crestmont North Nursing and Rehabilitation Center; Lakewood; Ohio. A daughter of the late Peter L. and Georgina Smock Dudgeon Lehew; she was born in Belle Vernon on March 15; 1921. Vera had resided in Ohio for the past two years and was a member of the Belle Vernon Church of the Nazarene. The last surviving of many brothers and sisters; survivors include one daughter and son-in-law; Patricia and James Maddox; of Cleveland; Ohio; two grandchildren; Donald Maddox; of Parma; Ohio and Jennifer Kirkland; of Florida; and three great-grandchildren; Kayla Maddox and Tanya and Shari Kirkland. There will be no public visitation. Graveside services will be Thursday; July 14; 2011; at 1 p.m. in Belle Vernon Cemetery with Pastor Kelly Brucker officiating.
