Obituary
Velma Lewis,formerly of Charleroi,died Thursday,Nov.19,1981 at 11 a.m. in the Washington County Health Center. She was 82. Miss Lewis was born May 6,1899,in Everett, Pa,a daughter of the late Walter W.and Mayme Fletcher Lewis. A retired bookkeeper,she was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church,Charleroi. Survivors include several nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home,Inc.,226 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi. Services will be held in the funeral home Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Price of the Grace Lutheran Church,Monongahela,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home in in charge of arrangements.
