Mrs.Valeria Hawker of Perryopolis R.D.2;died Wednesday;Jan.23;1985;at 6:45 p.m. in her home after a lengthy illness. She was 72. Mrs.Hawker was born Sept.4;1912;in Newell;W.Va.;a daughter of the late James and Ella Taylor Gollick. She was a member of the Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City R.D.1. Surviving are her husband;William R.Hawker of Perryopolis R.D.2;one son;Billy Hawker of Perryopolis;three daughters;Marilyn Wolfe of Uniontown;Kay Mosser of Perryopolis and Lelah Sheppard of Carnegie;Pa.;10 grandchildren;and two sisters;Mrs.Garnet Hosler of Fayette City R.D.1 and Mrs. William (Avis Lee) Morriston of Ocala;Fla. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and until 1 p.m.Saturday;the hour of services in the funeral home;with Pastor Robert Cromwell of the Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church;Fayette City R.D.1;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
