Grant Griffith;69;of 811 Schoonmaker Avenue;died Sunday morning;January 17;1937; at 6:40 o’clock in Westmoreland Hospital;Greensburg after suffering two months from burns received in a fire here.  Mr.Griffith was in a small  shed at 11th Street and Donner Avenue that was destroyed by the blaze.  Born in Belle Vernon;Mr.Griffith resided in this vicinity all his life.  He is survived by four daughters;Mrs.Hannah Miller;of Morgantown;West Virginia;Mrs.Johnh Flemming;of 811 Schoonmaker Avenue;Mrs.James Caputo;of Ebertsville;West Virginia;and Mrs.Ruth Griffith;of Monessen;and a son;Grant Griffith;of Stockdale.  Funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from his late residence;811 Schoonmaker Avenue.  The Rev.Archibald F.Fulton;pastor of the United Presbyterian Church;and the Rev.W.L.Shevel;pastor of Penacostal Mission;will officiate. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
