Tony Oliverio;aged 48 years;of Main street;Belle Vernon;died Thursday;January 23;1941;at the U.S.Veterans’ Hospital in Aspinwall. He had been ill about two weeks. He was a bricklayer by trade. Surviving are his widow;Mrs.Theresa Oliverio;and the following children: Mark of State College;Nicholas of Waynesburg;Joseph;Rudolph;Paul;Theodore;Phillip;Thomas;Ida May and Joan;at home. The deceased was a corporal in Battalion E;321 Field Artillery;82nd Division;and engaged in the battles of St.Mihiel and the Argonne. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home;Broad avenue;Belle Vernon;until Monday morning at 10 o’clock;when services will be conducted by Rev.Gregory Paonessa;pastor of the Mother of Sorrows Church in Charleroi. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
