Obituary

Tony Oliverio,aged 48 years,of Main street,Belle Vernon,died Thursday,January 23,1941,at the U.S.Veterans' Hospital in Aspinwall. He had been ill about two weeks. He was a bricklayer by trade. Surviving are his widow,Mrs.Theresa Oliverio,and the following children: Mark of State College,Nicholas of Waynesburg,Joseph,Rudolph,Paul,Theodore,Phillip,Thomas,Ida May and Joan,at home. The deceased was a corporal in Battalion E,321 Field Artillery,82nd Division,and engaged in the battles of St.Mihiel and the Argonne. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,until Monday morning at 10 o'clock,when services will be conducted by Rev.Gregory Paonessa,pastor of the Mother of Sorrows Church in Charleroi. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
