Tony Bitonti of 104 Main St.;
Belle Vernon; died Sunday;
Sept. 23; 1979; at 8:20 a.m. in
Monongahela Valley Hospital;
Inc.; Carroll Twp. He was 81.
Mr. Bitonti had been a
barber in Belle Vernon for 65
years.
He was born in Italy on
Sept. I8; 1898; a son of the late
Pete and Sarafina Caputo
Bitonti.
He had resided in Belle Vernon for more than 75 years and
was a member of St. Sebastian
Catholic Church of Belle Vernon.
Mr. Bitonti is survived by
his widow; Rose Rogers Bitonti; two sons; Tony P. Bitonti of
Coal Center and James V.
Bitonti of Belle Vernon; three
daughters; Mrs. George
(Sara) Mitchell; Mrs. Stanley
R. (Lucy) Kroskie; and Mrs.
Robert (Nancy) Byron; all of
Belle Vernon; one brother;
Louis Bitonti of Cleveland;
Ohio; two sisters; Mrs.
Theresa Amorosa of Fort Collins; Colorado; and Mrs.
Kathryn Cooper of Van Nuys;
Calif.; nine grandchildren;
and four great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; Broad Ave.;
Belte Vernon; Monday from 7
to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 9:30 a.m.;followed at 10 a.m.by Mass of Christian Burial at St.Sebastian Catholic Church. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
