Timothy M. (Tim) Stanish, 64, of Fayette City, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. The son of the late Joseph A. and Helen J. (Rutkowski) Stanish, he was born on October 17, 1960 in N. Charleroi.
A lifelong resident of Fayette City, he was employed by Dick’s Sporting Goods in the Smithton warehouse. Tim was a member of the Mon Valley Radio Control Club, a ham radio operator, and a member of the Star Junction Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed fishing, target shooting, and bowling; bowling a game high “299”.
Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose M. and Thomas Young of Harmony and Julie and Robert Henry of N. Huntingdon; nieces and nephews, Brad and Caitlyn Rohlf of Winnabow, N.C, Jessica and Alec McGaffic of Jacksonville, Fl., and Jennifer and Matthew Wilson of N. Huntingdon; and great nieces and nephews, Connor and Blair Rohlf, Nathan and Eleanor McGaffic, and Charlotte Wilson.
There will be no public viewing. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 10 AM in St. Angela Merici, 2701 Kelly Street, White Oak, with Father Terry O’Connor as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
