Obituary

Timothy David Williams,17,of 851 McKean Ave.,Donora,died Wednesday,July 21,1976,at 4:15 a.m.from injuries suffered in a one-car accident on Route 136 in Carroll Twp. He was born December 21,1958,in Gallatin,a son of the late Saul and Ida Williams. His father,Saul Williams,was killed by a passing freight train in Gallatin just two years ago. His mother died in December of 1970. He had been residing with his stepmother,Mrs.Ethel Miller of Donora. He had attended Elizabeth-Forward Schools,where he was a star basketball player with the junior high team. He transferred to the Donora Campus of the Ringgold School District and was attending Donora High School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gallatin. Besides his stepmother,Mrs.Ethel Miller of Donora,he is survived by four brothers,James Williams Jr. of Monongahela,Lawrence K.Williams,with the U.S.Navy in San Francisco,Calif.,and Herman Williams and Charles Williams,both of Donora,his grandmother,Mrs.Sarah Pate of Gallatin,his grandfather,Rober Miller of Gallatin,four aunts,Mrs.Louise Patterson and Mrs.Lorraine Pollard,both of Monongahela,Mrs.Dorothy Miller of Donora,and Mrs.Earlene Miller of McKeesport,two uncles,Oliver Miller of McKeesport and Edward Miller of Gallatin,and a number of other relatives in the Mon Valley. Friends will be received in the Percy E.Law Jr.Funeral Home in Donora from 7 to 10 p.m.Friday,July 23,when the body will be moved to the First Baptist Church of Gallatin. Friends will be received in the church from 10 a.m.until the time of services at 1 p.m.on Saturday,July 24,with the Rev.Ozzie Pope,pastor of the First Baptist Church,officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Percy E.law Jr.,funeral director in charge.
