Thomas W. Stark Sr.; 84; of Perryopolis; died Saturday; October 1; 1988 at 4:15 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital after a short illness.
He was born September 21; 1904; in Stockdale; a son of the late Robert and Clementina Gollick Stark.
Mr. Stark was a member of the Little Redstone United Presbyterian Church; Fayette City.
He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation; Allenport plant.
Mr. Sark was preceded in death by his wife Delila V. Wolfe Stark in 1974 and a granddaughter Ella V. Wood in 1981; four brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are one son; Thomas W. Sark; Jr. at home; four daughters; Mrs. June Wood of Stockdale; Mrs. Doris Menia of Charleroi; Mrs. Lee Condron of Deland; FL; Mrs. Ira Lane Rabatin of Perryopolis; 19 grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother; Howard Stark of Roscoe; two sisters; Mrs. Marybelle Neudorfer of Davie; FL and Mrs. Bessie Flaherty of Elco.
Friends will be received in the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home; Main Street; Fayette City;Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday until 2 p.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
