Obituary

Thomas W.Seibert of 904 Fayette Ave.,Belle Vernon,died at his home on Wednesday,Feb.29,1984. He was 81. Born in Pardo,Pa.,on May 8,1902,he was a son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Thompson Seibert. Mr.Seibert had resided in the Belle Vernon community for over 50 years. He retired in 1968 from the Round House as an employee of the Monessen Southwestern Railroad,Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was preceded in death by his wife,Frances Bates Seibert. Surviving are one son,Thomas E.of Belle Vernon,two daughters,Mrs.Ben(Marjorie) Dunson of Okmulgee,Okla,and Mrs.T.Edwin (Edythe) Carson of Charleroi R.D.2,a brother,David Seibert of Conneaut,Ohio,11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev.Thomas E.Carson of the Evangelical Free Church of Bloomington,Ill.,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D.Ferguson,funeral director,in in charge of arrangements.
