Thomas S. Hackenson; 38; of North Belle Vernon; died Wednesday; March 26; 2008; in Mon Valley Hospital; Carroll Township. Born September 25; 1969; in North Charleroi; he was the son of Thomas and Gloria Wozniak Hackenson. He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon; was a retired fireman and EMT from U.S. Steel; Clairton Works; and a life member of the Washington Township Fire Department. In addition to his parents; he is survived by two brothers and one sister-in-law; David and Tracey Hackenson; and Bruce Hackenson; all of Belle Vernon; two nephews; Trey and Tanner Hackenson; his maternal grandmother; Kathryn Tisot Wozniak; of Washington Township; and his very special cat; Tigger. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Alex Wozniak; and his paternal grandparents; Harry and Ann Hackenson. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME; family owned and operated; 626 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon (724-929-6183). Services will be held Friday; March 28; in the funeral home at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Charles P. Esposito; parochial vicar of St. Sebastian R.C. Church; officiating.
