Thomas P. Cavanaugh.Sr.,73 years of age,died at his home at 426 Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,Thursday, December 10,1942, at 5 p.m.,after an illness of only one day. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret Cavanaugh;two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Martin of Belle Vernon and Mrs. George Peake of Charleroi;three sons, Thomas,John and William of Belle Vernon and one step-son,Pvt. Robert Greene of Pine Camp, New York. Also surviving is one brother, Patrick Cavanaugh of Fayette City,one sister, Elizabeth Lofink of Fayette City and five grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,Broad avenue, Belle Vernon,until Monday morning,December 14,when services will be held at 9 o'clock at St. Sebastian R.C.Church,with Father Dennis Boyle officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner,funeral director in charge.
