Thomas Moran,86,of 1110 Monongahels St.,Belle Vernon died Tuesday,April 30,1963,at 4:50 p.m. at his late home. M. Moran,who was born in Lukowi Galicia, Austria,on Feb. 15,1877,had been a resident of Rostraver Twp. since 1915. A retired United Mine worker, he was a member of St.Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen. His wife, Nellie,preceded him in death on July 17,1962. Surviving are two sons, Frank of Belle Vernon R.D.3,and Michael of Belle Vernon;one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Helen) Kondratick of Belle Vernon, with whom he made his home;four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. May 1 at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home in Belle Vernon. Visiting hours will then be from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral service there Friday, May 3,at 10:20 a.m. followed by Requiem Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Monessen. The Rev. Andrew Parvensky,pastor, will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Parastas service at the funeral home Thursday,May 2,at 7:30 p.m. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
