Thomas Matthew Merryman, 81, of Millsboro, DE, passed away on December 15, 2017. Thomas was born in Washington DC, October 23, 1936, to the late Clarence and Eileene Merryman. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Merryman, and family, Tommy Merryman, son, Kelly Greenway, daughter, Theresa Mullican, daughter and Robin Yatty, daughter, as well as his, stepchildren, Debi Scott, Micki Welsh, Greg Winnett, and Eric Walls, wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thomas loved biking, fishing, and watching his favorite football team, the Redskins. He retired from the Government Printing Office, but continued to work until this past May at the Delaware State Park Beaches, which he loved. Thomas was a caring and loving person who always wanted everyone to be happy. He would greet everyone with a smile and often a silly joke. There will be a Celebration of Life held on January 13, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 27108 Mt. Zion Church Road, Mechanicsville, MD 20659. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The ALS ssociation, www.alsa.org.
