He was born in Fayette City;
Aug. 23; 1933; a son of the late
James and Nellie Strawn
Davis.
Mr. Davis was a member of
St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church; Belle Vernon; and the
Sons of Italy. He has been a
resident of Belle Vernon since
1954. He was employed as a
clerk at the WheelingPittsburgh Steel; Allenport
plant. He was an Army veteran
of the Korean conflict.
He is survived by his wife;
Frances Cefala Davis; one son;
James S. Davis of Belle
Vernon; two daughters; Mrs.
Keith (Marijo) Kroeschel of
Belle Vernon and Mrs. Ken
(Palma) Tabacca of Belle
Vernon; one brother; James R.
Davis of Perryopolis; and five
grandchildren.
Friends will be received at
the Ferguson Funeral Home
Inc.; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle
Vernon; Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer service at the funeral home will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
