Thomas L.Rathway of Perryopolis R.D.2 died Thursday;Nov.14;1985;at 6:20 a.m.in the Mon Valley Hospital. He was 34. Mr.Rathway was born Feb.12;1951;in Mt.Pleasant;a son of Emma Kranik Rathway of Perryopolis R.D.2 and the late John V.Rathway;Sr. He had served in the U.S.Air Force;and was attending classes at California University of Pennsylvania. In addition to his mother;survivors include his wife;Patty Muckle Rathway;a sister;Mrs.William (Geraldine) Hammerash of Perryopolis R.D.2;and two brothers;John V.Rathway Jr.and Richard E.Rathway;both of Perryopolis R.D.2. Friends will be received Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Blair-Lowther Funeral Home;Inc.;Perryopolis;where a prayer service will be held Sunday;Nov.17;at 1 p.m. with the Rev.Fr.Thomas Rinn officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery where American Legion will hold military graveside services. A wake service will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
