Thomas J.(T.J.) Moody Jr.;27;of Ridge Rd.;Belle Vernon;died early Sunday;March 13;1983 in a car accident on the Fayette City-Perryopolis Rd.near the Rathway Trucking Company;about two miles west of Fayette City.  He was the son of Mr.and Mrs. Thomas J.Moody Sr.of Belle Vernon RD 3.  He was born June 8;1955;in North Charleroi.  He was a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School in 1973 and was employed by U.S.Steel Corp.at its Maple Creek Mine.  He was Protestant by faith and was also a former member of the Rostraver Emergency Medical Service;where he was a paramedic.  In addition to his parents;he is survived by a brother;Douglas Moody of Belle Vernon;his maternal grandmother;Anna Moody of Delaware;one niece;and one nephew.  Friends will be received at the James C.Stump Funeral Home;Inc.Rostraver Twp.;Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Charles Laplaca officiating.  Burial will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Rostraver Emergency Medical Service.
