Thomas J. Nicoden,88,of Belle Vernon R.D.1,died Tuesday,April 18,1967 at 4 p.m. at his home. Born in Germany on Dec. 29,1878,he had lived in Rostraver Twp.for 20 years,moving there from Monessen. His wife, Anna M. Heinrich Nicoden,died on Jan.8,1966. Surviving are two sons, Paul T.of Belle Vneron and Walter F. of Fox Chapel;two daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Marie) Gordon of San Diego,Calif.,and Mrs. Ray (Jeanne) Page of Newton Falls,Ohio;a brother,Martin,and two sisters, Mrs. Katherine Budd and Mrs. Cecelia Stonemark,all of Pittsburgh;nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends will be recieved after 7 p.m.April 19 at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon. Services there Friday,April 21, at 215 p.m.with Dr. S. Arthur Talman,pastor of Belle Vernon's First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D Ferguson,funeral director.
