Thomas J. McCreary,81,of 173 Highand Terrace,Donora,died suddenly of a heart attack in his home Friday, June 19,1959 at 6 a.m. He came to Donora from Pittsburgh last April. Mr. McCreary was born in Ligonier. Blind all his life,he had been employed by the Western Pennsylvania Assn of the Blind in Pittsburgh. He is survived by his wife, Sarah DeSellems McCreary;two stepsons,Walter Allison of Miami,Fla.,and John Allison of Pittsburgh;two stepdaughters, Mrs. Frank (Mildred) Newman of Donora and Mrs. William (Leah) Doerr of Pittsburgh;one brother,William McCreary of Greensburg and 22 grandchildren.Friends are being received at the Lawson Funeral Home, Donora,where funeral services will be held Monday,June 22,at 2 p.m. The Rev. David C. Wilson,pastor of the Donora First United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Richard E. Lawson, funeral director.
