Thomas James Hency;68;of Fairhope;died in Veterans Administration Hospital;at Chillicothe;Ohio;on Saturday;January 5;1963;at 5:15 p.m.   Born in Carneige on April 22;1894;he was a son of the late Thomas J.and Mary Ann Lessig Hency Sr.  Mr.Hency was a member of the Marion Presbyterian Church and was a World War I veteran.  Surviving are four step-daughters;Miss Elizabeth Muir of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Willard (Hilda) Sale of Silver Springs;Md.;Mrs.William (Elsie) Mascara of Belle Vernon;and Mrs.Keith (Phyllis) Beckinger of Craven Hill;three sisters;Mrs.Alec (Laura) Livingstone of Fayette City R.D.1;Mrs.Martha Fretz of Fayette City;and Mrs.Ruth Roe of South Heights;Pa.  Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where services will take place Wednesday;Jan.9;1963;at 2 p.m.with the Rev.Donald Miller;of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Brownstown;officiating.  Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Howard W.McCrory;funeral director.
