Mr.Hill was born Dec.7;1921;in Terre Haute;Ind.;a son of the late Mr.and Mrs.George Hill Sr. He was a member of Union Baptist Church;Monessen. A U.S.Army veteran of World War II;Mr.Hill was a graduate of Monessen High School and attended Kentucky State College. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge. Survivors include his widow;Lucille Link Hill;two daughters;Gene Hill Fleming and Linda Hill Atwater;both of Columbia Md;one son;Gregory D.Hill of Philadelphia;two sisters;Hazel Garland of Pittsburgh and Doris Lawson of Donora;three brothers;James Hill of Perryopolis;George Hill of Monessen and Bruce Hill of Cleveland;Ohio;and three grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m.in the Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen. A funeral service will be held Friday;May 13;at 11 a.m. in Union Baptist Church;Monessen;with the Rev.Oscar L.Hill officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
