Thomas Edwards, aged 92 years, died at the home ol his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wallace Edwards, R. D., Belle Vernon, Washington Township, March 1, 1944 at 9:45 a.m. A member of a pioneer Washington Township family, the deceased had resided on a farm all his life. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Johnson, of Belle Vernon, and Mrs. Hugh Brown, of Monessen, a sister, Mrs, Jennie Weiberg, of Belle Vernon, and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer Funeral Home on Broad avenue, Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday,March 5,1944,at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas.L. and Edwin Melenyzer,700 Broad Avenue,Belle Vernon,are the funeral directors.
