Obituary

Thomas E. Bainbridge of 420
May St.,, Belle Vernon, died suddenly Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1990, at
11:25 a.m. in Mon Valley
Hospital. He was 68.
Mr. Bainbridge was born Nov.
21,1921, in Fairnope, a son of the
late Robert and Catherine
Sproates Bainbridge.
A lifelong resident of the Belle
Vernon area, he was a member
of Belle Vernon American
Legion Post 659, the AARP and
Mon Valley Chapter 131 of the
Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Bainbridge retired in 1984 as a technician for the Mine Safety and health Administration of the United States Government. He was a U.s.Army veteran of World War II,serving in the Pacific. Survivors include his wife,Harriet Hilty Bainbridge,one daughter,Paticia Bainbridge at home,and one brother,Richard Bainbridge of Fairhope. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m.with the Rev. Dr. Thomas St.Clair,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be held in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
